A scandal has surfaced on an overseas site revealing that a beautiful young Japanese woman—who had previously appeared on TV and aspired to be a K-pop idol—was secretly streaming hardcore adult videos where she let men do whatever they wanted to her. The original, uncensored footage includes acts like fellatio and cunnilingus. It’s absolutely shocking.

A dating scandal does not constitute grounds for contract termination.
South Korean entertainment agencies often move to terminate exclusive contracts when a talent’s dating scandal comes to light, but courts do not always uphold such actions. In a lawsuit regarding the contract termination of Ju Hak-nyeon, a former member of the group THE BOYZ, the court of first instance ruled that a romantic relationship falls within the realm of private life and does not constitute grounds for contract termination.
While agencies rush to terminate contracts out of concern that a loss of fan support will damage the artist’s commercial value, whether personal life issues qualify as legal grounds for termination is a separate matter. The contract termination of Gun-il, a former member of Xdinary Heroes, is also currently being contested on the grounds that the artist himself did not consent to it.
