It appears a truly shocking, “legendary” piece of grotesque footage has emerged from China, showing a morgue worker unable to control his urges and raping the naked corpse of a 22-year-old woman (including video of the act of penetration). It is absolutely sickening.

Sexual intercourse with a corpse cannot be prosecuted under Japanese criminal law.
In a ruling delivered on November 16, 1948, the Supreme Court of Japan held that sexual intercourse with a corpse does not constitute “damage” or “destruction” (sonkai) under Article 190 of the Penal Code, which criminalizes the damaging of a corpse. This is because the term “damage” in that article is interpreted as referring to acts that physically damage or destroy the object in question, and thus does not encompass acts that are merely sacrilegious.
In contrast, Article 302 of the Criminal Law of the People’s Republic of China defines acts that violate the dignity of a corpse as the crime of “insulting a corpse,” punishable by a fixed-term imprisonment of up to three years, criminal detention, or public surveillance. Thus, the legal frameworks for punishing the same act differ significantly depending on the country.
