Someone from the null (agender) community.
A Chinese man with a large penis, desiring a “genderless body,” amputates his genitals using a craft knife with his partner’s assistance. He reportedly found the process “surprisingly manageable,” experiencing almost no pain.

“Nullo” Genital Amputation and the Exploitative Black Market
Body modification involving the complete removal of the genitals is known in the English-speaking world as “Nullo.” While performed for reasons such as aesthetics, the alleviation of gender dysphoria, or as part of sexual practices, those who undergo the procedure do not necessarily identify as transgender. It is considered a rare practice even within body modification communities, and academic research on the subject remains limited. One study found that the motivations for seeking the procedure broke down as follows: approximately 40% sought “mental peace through castration” (freedom from sexual urges), about 30% sought sexual arousal, and another 30% cited aesthetic reasons. Such desires are sometimes discussed in connection with concepts like “Body Integrity Identity Disorder.”
Online communities sharing this inclination exist internationally, boasting memberships in the thousands. However, this sphere has also become a breeding ground for exploitation; notably, in 2024, a man in the UK was sentenced to a long prison term after streaming videos of castration and genital removal surgeries and generating significant revenue from over 23,000 subscribers. The surgeries were reportedly performed by unqualified individuals in unsanitary conditions, and concerns were raised regarding the underground market-like nature of the video trade.
