China’s “obscenity charges” are determined by numbers
In China, in 2010, a judicial interpretation by the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate established specific numerical standards for applying criminal penalties to the production, reproduction, and distribution of obscene videos and images online.
