The Real Reason Why There Are Few Surveillance Cameras in Private Karaoke Rooms
Although private karaoke rooms offer high levels of soundproofing and seclusion, it is actually rare for establishments to install security cameras inside them. In most venues, cameras are limited to common areas such as entrances and corridors, as installing them inside private rooms is generally avoided due to privacy concerns.
Even if cameras were to be installed in private rooms, it is considered necessary to provide advance notice—such as a sign stating “Cameras in use for security purposes”—and to obtain the users’ consent.
